Comics: Total number of copies sold exceeds 3 million!

On Friday, October 3rd, Volume 9 of “Kagurabachi” was released, and the series has now surpassed 3 million copies in cumulative sales (including digital editions)!
■ The book band of Volume 9 also includes comments from Kohei Horikoshi and an exchange illustration!

Volume 9’s book band features comments from Kohei Horikoshi, creator of My Hero Academia.
He commented, “The way it expresses karma and relationships through composition alone made me think, ‘He’s a genius.’”
This is the second time we’ve received a book band comment from Kohei Horikoshi after Volume 1.
Additionally, the 45th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump (on sale October 6), celebrating the series’ 2nd anniversary, features a special talk between Takeru Hokazono and Kohei Horikoshi, including an exchange of illustrations with Horikoshi drawing Chihiro, the protagonist of “Kagurabachi”, and Hokazono drawing Deku, the protagonist of “My Hero Academia.” Horikoshi’s “Kagurabachi” Chihiro is teased on the Volume 9 book band!
Additionally, we will give away double-sided clear files featuring the exchange illustrations to 500 randomly selected purchasers of Volume 9 (an RFID tag included with Volume 9 is required to enter).
■ Special illustration cards (3 kinds) commemorating the release of Volume 9 will be distributed at some bookstores.
